The Man
A. Lawrence Haskins was born in Tacoma, Washington on October 14, 1970 to the union of Louis Edward and Lucille Haskins. His father and mother, examples of strong and consistent work ethic, sacrificed continually to take care of their nine children; an undertaking they accomplished with unparalleled success.
Raised with strong spiritual and religious values, Haskins has continually drawn strength from the knowledge that there is a power that exceeds his own, especially in those times when it seemed his flaws would be his undoing. He remembers fondly the days his mother and father would ready him and his eight siblings to go to church services although Haskins readily admits that at the time it seemed to him to be abject drudgery. Today, he is ever grateful for the foundation his parents instilled in him........ more

The College Writers Association is designed to give aspired writers an outlet to expose their work to the industry. We encourage individuals to purchase Final Draft Software and begin creating. CWA is a private organization built to market creative intellectual property and establish amatuer creative writing into motion picture materal.
College Writers' Association, founded in 2008, is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization created by writers for writers and industry professionals. The Network serves its members by enhancing their awareness of the realities of the business, providing access and opportunity through partnership alliances with industry professionals and leaders, and furthering the cause and quality of writing in the motion picture industry.
When you sign in with us you will have access to your own individual account where you can feature your best work. We provide all the tools for you to promote yourself.

Submit Your Synopsis
All Synopsis are reviewed before posted by CWA Director. Please do not submit ideas or treatments. Synopsis for completed screenplays only. A Synopsis is one or two hundred words or more. If you post only a few sentences your synopsis most likely will not be posted. Submission of your synopsis does not guarantee that your synopsis will be posted. All loglines must have a screenplay title. A CWA Director is not responsible for errors in posting in any form. In submitting your synopsis you are agreeing to such terms. A CWA Director does not option or purchase any screenplays.
